BMI :: Boysnoize Records Label Show

Ladies and gentleman, let us introduce the Boysnoize Records Label Show with Strip Steve and Housemeister on Monday the 28st. of June 2010, 7-11pm CET.

The label Boysnoize Records stands for a very specific sound that has not been featured at the Berlin Mitte Institut so far. The label is represented tonight by French DJ & producer:

Strip Steve (Boysnoize )

Support: E-Kreisel & 100 Tons
Moderation: Fresh Meat & Sacha Robotti

Short Boysnoize Records bio:

Hidden within Berlin’s prevalent minimal techno scene, a maximalist flag waves wildly, held by an anarchist collective that ditches the skeletal beats and brings the noise. Boysnoize, that is. Boysnoize Records and its mighty ringleader Alex Ridha aka Boys Noize are electronic punks, a non-conformist DYI collective creating rave bangers aimed straight at fist-pumping dancefloors around the globe.

Boysnoize Records (BNR) was founded in 2005 by Alex Ridha aka Boys Noize. BNR was launched by Alex in order to retain full artistic freedom and to offer the same independence of spirit to a variety of artists; friends whose work he admires (D.I.M, Housemeister) or artists he has discovered (Shadow Dancer, Strip Steve, Djedjotronic). All have their own sound, though they often share Boys Noize’s frantic nature (other than the more disco-tech tracks released by the enigmatic Siriusmo and Strip Steve).

Alongside peers like Turbo Recordings, Ed Banger and Institubes, Boysnoize Records is part of a more recent breed of a techno/house/electronic label with a solid vision, beaming a myriad of influences from the past through a prism to create something fresh, new and exciting enough to create mayhem with their audience.

Message from BMI:

“Steve’s set was mindblowing. He offered a really nice insight on what Boysnoize might sound like. We also planned Housemeister to play tonight on this show to represent the label, but he cancelled the date twice on short notice without giving reasons – just in case you are wondering. ;) Anyways, with Steve we had a really nice and musicwise fantastic guy here. E-Kreisel and 100Tons played really nice supporting sets too: Warming up and getting you into bed.”
