To celebrate, there’s a palette of new and previously unreleased sounds to enjoy.

Punchi Yellow and Punchi Black bring the drama. The latter soundtracks artist Bella Berlin’s laser performance, who ever since her Robosonic collaboration has performed to the beat of Kreuzberg’s music manufactory on various stages: Friedrichstadt Palast Fashion Show, Sonar Festival in Barcelona with DJ Hell, Berlin Festival with Peaches and the New Year’s Rave in the ‘Space of Sound’ arena in Madrid with Paul Kalkbrenner.

“Punchi Punchi“ pays homage to its namesake, as light as it is versatile. “The Sweetness“ reveals a tender ballad from Robosonic’s repertoire of high tech soul.

All in all, the mixtape is a taste of things to come! Releases, remixes and the sound of Robosonic DJ sets. On the agenda: Berlin Tropical, dismantling Dutch factory buildings and open air euphoria.

Here is a long awaited new ROBOSONIC promo DJ mix, recorded live on Sunday at the Fusion Festival 2010 @ Tanzwiese (Kubik floor).

We played this 3 hour set with 4 CDJs and 2 mixers, featuring some of our favourite electronic dance music tracks from some of our favourite labels last year. „Die Verführung“ (engl.: ‘The Seduction’) is a 2-hour DJ-mix by Robosonic which has been released while their debut album „Sturm und Drang“ (CD & MP3 out on Diskomafia) hit the streets.

Cord Henning Labuhn (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and Sacha Robotti (Berlin, Germany) take their time to tell a story, a drama sometimes, by moving slowly and patiently through a particular selection of electronic dance music with its very own character.
Moods are ranging from romantic to heartrending: moments full of pathos – which comes in rich chunks of minimalistic house music – are colliding with crystal clear structures of modern techno productions with cloudy edges.
The mix leaves enough space for you to make your own interpretations, to paint your own picture.
With „Die Verführung”, Robosonic are not aiming to scroll down a playlist of the current peaktime dancefloor anthems, but trying to generate enough subtle energy to make you to meditate, fall into dreamy fantasies, reminisce about something personal, write a book or even use it as a soundtrack for seduction in the literal sense.
